SUMMARY

This course is intended to support trainees in gaining employment. it develops practical skills that trainees need to seek work and to be successful in the workplace once they are employed. Learning how organisations operates will help trainees to better understand the processes they will explore in sales and purchases in business and will be of benet in completing documents used in the sales and purchase processes.

TOPICS COVERED

The course covers a range of skills and the relevant supporting knowledge in three mandatory units:
• Preparing for Work.
• Using Numbers in Business
• Sales and Purchases in Business.

ASSESSMENT AND CERTIFICATION

Trainees must successfully complete one end-of-qualification assessment to achieve this qualification. The
proportion of this qualication assessed by external assessment is 100%. This qualification is not graded.
To pass the qualication, trainees must pass one mandatory assessment.
Trainees who score 70 and above out of 100 will be awarded a certicate of completion from Association Accounting Technician (AAT).
