Level 1 AAT Access Award in Bookkeeping offers trainees the opportunity to develop practical bookkeeping skills. This qualification may help trainees to move on to further study in either accountancy or bookkeeping with AAT, oer a route into employment or be of interest to those already in employment.
Upon completion of the course, trainees will be expected to:
• Understand the role of the bookkeeper
• Understand financial transactions
• Process customer and supplier transactions
• Process receipts and payments
The qualification covers arrange of skills and the relevant supporting knowledge in one mandatory unit:
• Access to Bookkeeping.
The course is assessed via an online examination after course completion where trainees need to complete a set of questions. Trainees who score higher than 70 and above out of 100 will be awarded a certicate of completion from LOMA.
