Level 2 Award in Safe Driving at Work is an internationally respected health and safety qualification, providing trainees with an excellent introduction to the hazards and risks associated with driving at work and with valuable guidance on the measures available for reducing these risks.
Upon completion of the course, trainees will be expected to:
• Understand the importance driving safely at work
• Know the hazards and risks associated with driving at work
• Know the measures for reducing the risks associated with driving at work
Trainees attending Level 2 Award in Safe Driving at Work will be exposed to the following topics:
• Why drive safely?
• The legal position
• Hazards and risk
• Factors that increase risk
• Risk assessment
• Reducing the risk
• Vehicle safety checks
• Adapting to conditions
• Highway Code
The course concludes with a multiple choice examination consisting of thirty questions (45 minutes). Trainees who score higher than 20 out of 30 will be awarded a certicate of completion from British Safety Council.
